Terms and Conditions and  General Queries

Delivery:
We understand that sometimes returns are necessary. If you need to return a product, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of purchase. We will work with you to arrange for a return and refund or exchange. Please note that some products may be subject to a restocking fee. In the returning of goods JY STEEL will be providing you with a label to send the parcel to, it is necessary that you follow the given instructions, and the cost of the label will be deducted from the overall refund.

Privacy & Security Services:

We take security very seriously. We only keep your details until the payment is taken, at which point they are removed from our system, unless you make an account with JY STEEL. We keep your order details (minus payment information) on our system for up to 3 years,  for accounting purposes, as well as guarantee and warranty issues. PayPal Payments & Delivery:

If paying by PayPal it is the customers' responsibility to ensure that the address registered with PayPal is the correct address for the delivery of any orders. If the address held by PayPal is different to the delivery address, you should contact us immediately to advise us of the correct delivery address. JY STEEL does not have access to customers' PayPal accounts and are unable to amend any of the details. If we are not advised of the correct delivery address then JY STEEL reserves the right to charge for the re-delivery of any goods sent to the wrong address. JY STEEL will not be responsible or be held liable for compensation for any losses, damages, charges or expenses as a result of any delay of delivery or delivery to an incorrect address.
 

Availability of the package:

Should for any reason the product not be available for immediate delivery due to various reasons, you will be contacted with an estimated date of delivery which could range between 5 and 30 days. Should the date not be acceptable and you wish to cancel your order and you have paid, your payment will be refunded including any delivery charges. Refunds are made by the same method as the original payment was made alternate will not be accepted. 

 

Delivery of the goods:

All goods are delivered to the address stated at the time of ordering. We aim to deliver your goods if they are in stock as soon as possible within approximately 3 to 5 working days (this is only an estimate and may be sooner or no more than 30 days after you have placed your order). Our products are sent out in good faith and occasionally goods are misrouted, lost in transit or may be subject to delays beyond our control. If the contents of your parcel are for installation on site, we do not recommend you schedule any work or book any contractors until you have received and checked the goods. We can not be held responsible or be liable for any losses, damages, charges, compensation or expenses as a result of any delay in delivery. Our standard delivery is between 8.00am to 8.00pm, (these times are estimated only and delivery may be earlier or later than shown) Monday to Sunday. If we do not have your item(s) in stock or our stockholders are out of stock there may be a delay of up to 30 days. Should this be the case we will contact you by the email address you provided at the time of ordering and advise you accordingly. You will have the option of cancelling your order and any payments including any delivery charges (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), will be refunded. Refunds are made by the same method as the original payment was made.

 

How and When to Order:

Our ordering system is available 24 hours a day online, and orders are processed between normal office hours (8.30am-5pm) Monday-Friday. Any orders placed outside of these hours will be processed in order of importance based on postage required, next day orders take priority over 24 hours, and so on. If you call to arrange a specific date, we will try our best to achieve this; however no promise made.

Delays in unforeseen circumstances:

Delays can be frustrating, but they are sometimes inevitable. At our steel company, we understand the importance of timely delivery and we strive to meet our deadlines. However, there may be unforeseen circumstances that can cause delays in the production and delivery of our products. We want to assure our customers that we are doing everything in our to minimize any potential and keep them informed throughout the process. Delays made in the delivery from unforeseen circumstances will not be held liable against us.

Redelivery once the package is not accepted:

If your package is returned to us undelivered, we will not be held responsible or be liable for any compensation for any losses, damages, charges or expenses as a result of any delay of delivery. We may charge an amount to redeliver the parcel at the given address, however the rights will be reserved.

What to do when goods lost in transit:

Please allow 7 working days for goods to be delivered once you have been notified that they are in transit to you. We keep track of of the parcels therefore before contacting you we will raise an enquiry regarding the package to the courier. If you have still not received your goods, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date for us to investigate. Should you not contact us by email on jysteel20@gmail.com within this time frame, it is expected that the goods have been delivered in good order and no claim will be entertained. 

Our Couriers:

We use courier services to deliver: Evri, RoyalMail, ParcelForce, UPS, DPD, DX. 

Different Couriers: 

Different courier services have different delivery times, therefore please be mindful from which you're getting delivered.

  • Evri: 3-5 working days

  • ParcelForce: 24- 48 hours

  • RoyalMail: 3-4 days

  • UPS: varies

  • DPD: 3-5 days

  • DX: 24- 48 hours

These figures are just estimates, this might change if the parcel is stuck due to unforeseen circumstances.
